We mourn the loss of Steffen Wendsche
A tragic traffic accident suddenly took the life of our colleague Dr. Steffen Wendsche in early January.
We are all deeply shocked and can barely believe this loss. Steffen Wendsche lived the spirit of AdEx Partners in a very special way. He was not only an extremely dedicated and highly valued colleague, but also a friend to many of us.
We miss him terribly.
Our thoughts and deepest sympathy are with Steffen's family and all those who were close to him.

I am fascinated by the opportunities that the usage of modern technologies bring for advancing business.
Throughout my consulting life, I have been driven by the effective use of technology in business. Consequently, for more than 20 years my focus has been on IT/ Digital Strategy and IT/ Digital Transformation. On the one hand, this includes the optimal alignment of IT with the needs of a company (IT value, positioning and strategy) and on the other hand the optimal design and implementation of the IT operating model (IT organization, IT governance, IT processes, IT sourcing).
In addition, I have been active for more than 20 years in the area of carve-out and Mergers & Acquisitions with a focus on holistic program management as well as the adaptation of IT to the challenges of corporate portfolio transformations. I have managed some of the largest carve-outs in Europe. In addation, I am a recognized expert and author in this field.
Internally, I am acting as a sparring partner for AdEx Partner's IT Transformation and Mergers & Acquisitions service portfolios.
As early as the 1990s, I dealt with the possibilities of artificial intelligence and studied robotics in Dresden and Berkeley. This enthusiasm for the effective use of new technologies geared to customer and company benefits, still drives me today. Realizing the opportunities of information and technology for companies is my focus; to realize this with like-minded partners and employees entirely in the interest of our customers is a great challenge.
